Section 10.17 Setback Provisions <br /> (3) Class C Highways. <br /> (a) All town roads, not included within the boundaries of a recorded subdivision <br /> or plat, are hereby designated Class C highways. <br /> (b) For all Class C highways setback lines are hereby established, parallel to and <br /> distant sixty-three (63)• feet from the center line of such highway. <br /> (4) Class D Highways. <br /> (a) Roads or streets in subdivisions platted prior to the adoption of this ordi- <br /> nance, except those designated Class A or Class B highways, are hereby designated as <br /> Class D highways. <br /> (b) For all Class D highways setback lines are hereby established, parallel to and <br /> distant twenty (20) feet from the' right of way or front lot line. <br /> (5) Class E Highways. <br /> (a) All streets, highways and roads not otherwise classified are hereby designated <br /> Class E highways. <br /> (b) For all Class E highways setback lines are hereby established, parallel to and <br /> distant thirty (30) feet from the right of way or front lot line. <br /> Section 8. Three (3) new sectidns of the ordinance are hereby created, to be num- <br /> bered 10.18, 10019 and 10.20, and as so numbered, to read as follows: <br /> 10. 18 OFF-STREET PARKIN! <br /> (1) One off-street parking space shall be two hundred sixteen (216) square feet of <br /> area, exclusive of adequate ingress and egress driveways to connect with a public s <br /> thoroughfare. A single stall garage, or one stall in a multiple stall garage, may re- <br /> place any•single required parking space. <br /> (2) No building for which off-street parking space is required may be added•to, <br /> structurally'altered or converted in use so as to encroach upon or reduce the parking • <br /> space below the required minimum. <br /> (3),No parking spaces required under this ordinance may be used for any other pur- <br /> pose; provided, however, that open spaces required by this ordinance for setback and <br /> side yards may be used for such parking spaces or approaches thereto. <br /> (4) Parking spaces Required. <br /> (4) In the local Business, commercial and light manufacturing and industrial dis- <br /> tricts, in addition to other parking spaces herein required, there shall be provided <br /> adequate off-street space for the loading and unloading of trucks and other commercial <br /> vehicles, and for the vehicles of employed personnel. <br /> (b) Multiple family dwellings shall provide one off-street parking space for each <br /> gamily for which accomodations are provided in the building. <br /> (c) Establishments offering curb service or service to customers who remain in the <br /> vehicle, shall provide adequate space to accommodate all vehicles to so so serviced. <br /> (d) Retail or local business ph2ces, banks, offices and professional offices and <br /> personal service shops shall provide one parking space for each three hundred (30.0)- <br /> square feet of ground floor space, plus one parking space for each five hundred (500) <br /> square feet of upper floor area. - <br /> (e) Buildings combining business and residential uses shall provide one parking <br /> space for each three hundred (300) square feet of area devoted to business use, plus <br /> one parking space for each family for which accomodations are provided. <br /> -70- <br /> • <br />
