Coal-and lumber yards,�contractors' storage.yard or.sheds, and storage of mach- <br />inery and equipemtn: used in.a.business not permitted in this district. <br />4. Warehouses and-truck terminals, except warehouses accessory to a retain business <br />conducted_on:the premises. <br />5. Woodworking or machine-shops, sheet metal or tin shops, furnace works and-the <br />like. <br />6. Commercial production of eggs; chicken hatcheris; commercial fattening of stock <br />and poultry-for market.' <br />7. -Slaughter houses, included the slaughtering of poultry, except as incidental <br />to. retail. sale. <br />8. Dog kennels, for the breeding, raising,• sale or .boarding of dogs; veterinary <br />hospitals. <br />(d) Amusement places, except roller skaing rinks and shooting galleries. <br />(e) Tourist and trailer. camps, -motels, service stations, -taverns, funeral parlors <br />and'the drive-�in. type of1,root`beer and-eating stands; provided that the zoning com- <br />mittee, after. public,hearing,.shall:determine that the proposed site:is suitable.for <br />the intended use. <br />(f):.Any processing or treatment incidental to the conduct of a retail.business con- <br />ducted on the premises, such as grinding,- mixing, packaging, but not _including.the <br />manufacture of-the.a.rticle.sold. <br />`(g) Signs, billboards and other advertising media, advertising the.business con- <br />ducted or goods for 'sale-on the premises on which the sign is located. <br />(h) Outdoor theaters; provided that the zoning committee, after public hearing, <br />shall:report:to the.county board with:its:recommendations, and the county board shall <br />determine-that-the proposed site.is.suiable: for the intended use. <br />(2) Building.Height Limit. <br />(a) Buildings: here after erected or structurally altered or moved shall not ex- <br />ceed thirty- five.(35) feet or two and one -half (A) stories in height. <br />(3) Areia9 Frontage and Population . Density. Regulations. <br />(a).Fbr buildings or sites to.be used exclusively for business.purposes, no mimi- <br />mum -lot width or area limitations. No such building shall occupy in excess of sixty <br />(60) per cent of the area of either an interior or corner:lot. <br />(b) Lots,or:sites for.residential purposes; either for single or multiple family <br />dwelling, or for combined residential-and business purposes, shall provide.a minimum <br />width of-sixty (60) feet and a minimum area of seven thousand two hundred (7,200) <br />square feet; provided, however, that for u(ultiple.family dwellings, or for buildings <br />combining business uses with accomodations for more than one family, the minimum lot <br />area shall.be three'thousand (3,000) square feet per family. <br />(c) Buildings:to be used for combined business and residential purposes shall <br />occupy.not more than sixty (60) -per cent of the area of either an interior or corner <br />lot ;.provided, however,-that-the portion of:such building used for residential pur- <br />poses, whether on the same floor as the business part of the building, or.wholly or <br />partially .on.an upper floor, shall .occupy.not more. than forty (40) per cent of the <br />lot area. <br />(4) Setback Requirements. <br />(a). Setback from front lot line or highway right of way shall comply with: the pro- <br />visions of. Sect ipn 10.17. <br />I- -69-- <br />
