SECTION 10.01; 10.02; 10.03 which is abounded by the right -of -way lines of the highways or '3treets and a vision clearance setback line connecting points on each right -of -way line which are located a distance.back from the intersection equal to the setback required on the road or highway. (65) Yard: A space on a lot on which a building is situated, unoccupied except as otherwise provided in this ordinance,, open and unobstructed from the ground to the sky. (66) Yard, Rear: An open 'space, unoccupied except for accessory buildings, extending from the rear line of the building to the rear lot line for the entire width of the lot. On lake shore or water front lots the water front end of the lot shall be deemed the rear end of the lot for the purpose of computing rear yard and setback required by this ordinance. (67) Yard, Side: A yard or open space on each side of the main building extending from the side wall of the building to the side lot line and from the front lot line to the rear yard. Section 3. Section 'II and XII of the ordinance of July 20, 1938, the title to which is recited in the title to this ordinance, are hereby repealed. Section 4. Two (2) new sections of the ordinance hereinabove entitled Chapter 10, Dane County Ordinances, are created, to be known as Sections 10.02 and 10.03 to read as follows: 10.02 DISTRICTS (1) Creation: For the purpose of promoting the public health, safety and general welfare, by regulating, restricting.and determining the location of trades and industries and the location, heights, bulk and number of stories, the size of build - ings.and other structures, and percentage of lot location of buildings designed for specific purposes, and of establishing districts of such number, shape and area as are best suited to carry out the purposes of Section 59.97, Wisconsin Statutes. Dane County, outside the limits of incorporated villages and cities, is hereby divided into districts, as follows: (a) R -1 Residence. District (b) R -2 Residence District (c) R -3 Residence District (d) R -3A Residence District (e) R -4 Residence District (f) RH -1 Residence District .(g) RE -1 Recreational District (h) B -1 Local Business District (i) A -1 Agricultural District (j) C -1 Commercial and Light Manufacturing District (k) C -2 Commercial and Light Manufacturing District (1) M -1 Inudstaial District (m) CO-1 Conservancy District 10.03 ZONING DISTRICT MAPS (1) The location and boundaries of the zoning districts other than the A -1 Agri- cultural District and the flood prone areas (regional flood) are hereby established as shown on maps entitled "Zoning District Maps" on file in the -7-
