SECTION 10.04 <br />Section 5. Sections III, IV, V, VI; VII and VIII of the ordinance of <br />July 20, 1938, the title to which is recited in the title to this ordinance, <br />are hereby repealed. <br />Section 6. Thirteen new sections of the ordinance hereinabove numbered <br />to be Chapter 10, Dane County Ordinances, are created, to be ]mown and numbered <br />as Sections 10.04 to 10.16, inclusive, to read as follows: <br />10.04 RESTRICTIONS UPON LANDS BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES <br />Except as otherwise herein provided: <br />(1) Use: No building or structure shall hereinafter be erected, and no <br />existing building or structure shall be moved, altered, added to or enlarged, <br />nor shall any land, building or structure or premises be used, designed or in -.- <br />tended to be used for any purpose, or in any manner ckher than a use designated <br />in this ordinance as permitted in the district in which land, building or <br />structure is located. <br />(2) Height No building or structure shall be erected, nor shall any ex- <br />isting building or structure be moved, reconditioned, added to or structurally <br />altered to exceed in height the limit established by this ordinance for the <br />district in which such building or structure is located. <br />(3) Percentage of Lot Occupancy: No building or structure shall hereafter <br />be erected, nor shall any existing building be moved, altered, enlarged or re- <br />built, nor shall any open spaces surrounding any building or structure be enc -_. <br />roached upon or reduced in any manner, nor shall a greater percentage of lot be <br />occupied, except in conformity to the building site requirements and the area <br />and yard regulations established by the ordinance, for the district in which' <br />such building is located. <br />(4) Density of Population: No building, structure or premises shall be <br />erected, occupied or used so as to provide a greater density of population than <br />is allowed by the terms of this ordinance for the district in which such building, <br />structure or premises is located. <br />(5) Open space Limitations: No yard or other open space provided about any <br />building or structure for the purpose of complying with the regulations of this <br />ordinance shall be considered as providing yard or other open space for any <br />other building or structure. No lot area shall be so reduced or diminished <br />that the yard of other open space shall be smaller than prescribed by this <br />ordinance. <br />10 <br />
