m <br />SECTION 10.155 <br />SECTION 10.16 <br />M-1 CONSERVANCY DISTRICT <br />GENERAL PROVISIONS <br />(c) Sustained yield forestry. <br />(d) The harvesting of.any wild crops such as marsh hay, ferns, moss, <br />berries, tree fruits and tree seeds. <br />(e).Grazing: <br />(f) Dams and hydro - electric power stations. <br />(g) Communication and power transmission lines or towers; other public <br />utility lines or facilities. <br />(h) If the land is publicly owned, such facilities as the owning or con- <br />trolling agency shall direct, including without limitation because of enumeration, <br />camping, boat landings, sale of bait, boat and motor rental, sale of gasoline <br />for boats, refreshment facilities and the like. <br />(i) If the land is privately owned, those facilities listed i n (h) hereof <br />be subject to "the provisions of 10.25 (4), Application for Approval of Site. <br />(j) Non- residential buildings or structures accessory to any permitted use. <br />(k) Residential'or housing facilities for persons employed on the premises. . <br />(1) Improvement of water courses and bodies of water. <br />(2) USES PROHIBITED: <br />(a) If the land is privately owned, any filling of marsh land, removal of <br />top soil or damming of any water course unless approved by the zoning com- <br />mittee after public hearing. <br />10.16 GENERAL PROVISIONS AND EXCEPTIONS: <br />(1) USE: <br />(a) Except as� otherwise expressly provided, any use listed as a permitted <br />use in any district shall be construed as a prohibited use in amore restricted <br />district. <br />(b) The following uses shall be permitted in the districts specified when <br />such uses do not alter the character of the premises in respect to their use -for <br />the purposes permitted in such district: <br />.1. In any district, real estate offices and signs advertising property <br />for sale, for a period not'to exceed one year. <br />2. In any district, temporary buildings and the temporary storage of <br />materials and equipment incidental to the construction of buildings on the <br />premises, for a period not to exceed one year. <br />3. In the RH -1 and R -1 'Districts, separate accessory buildings may be <br />used for the housing of servants'or the accomodation of guests of the owner or <br />occupant. <br />4. In any district where lands are used for farm and garden purposes, <br />separate accessory buildings may be used for the regular or temporary housing <br />of farm labor, or a separate building may be provided for the family of a <br />farm manager or laborer. <br />5. In any district, while residential construction is in progress, the <br />owner or builder may occupy a house trailer on the premises for a period not <br />to exceed six (6) months prior to commencement of such construction and,for <br />such period thereafter as may be reasonably necessary for completion thereof. <br />27 <br />
