SECTION 10.17 <br />SECTION 10.18 <br />SETBACK REGULATIONS <br />OFF - STREET PARKING <br />ordinance, except those designated Class A or Class B highways, are hereby <br />designated as Class D- -highways. <br />i <br />(b) For all Class D highways setback lines are hereby established, paral- <br />lel to and distant twenty (20) feet from the right of way line or front lot <br />line. <br />(5) CLASS E HIGHWAYS <br />. (a) All streets, highways and roads not otherwise classified are hereby <br />designated Class E highways. <br />(b) For all Class E highways setback lines are hereby established, paral- <br />lel to and distant thirty (30) feet from the right of way or front lot line. <br />Section 8. Three (3) new sections of the ordinance are hereby created, <br />to be numbered 10.18, 10.19 and 10.20, and as so numbered, to read as follows: <br />10.18 OFF- STREET PARKING <br />(1) One off - street parking space shall be two hundred.sixteen.(216) square <br />feet of area, exclusive of adequate ingress and egress driveways to connect <br />with a public thoroughfare. A single stall garage, or one stall in a multiple <br />stall garage, may replace any-single required parking space. <br />(2) No building for which off - street parking space is required may be added <br />to, structurally altered or converted in use so as to encroach upon or reduce <br />the parking space below the required minimum. <br />(3) No parking spaces required under this ordinance may be used for any <br />other purposes, provided, however, that open spaces required by this ordinance <br />for setback and side yards may be used for such parking spaces and approaches <br />thereto. <br />(4) Parking Space Required: <br />(a) In the local business, commercial and light manufacturing and industrial <br />districts, in addition to other parking spaces herein required, there shall be <br />provided adequate off - street space for the loading and unloading of trucks and <br />other commercial vehicles and for the vehicles of employed personnel. <br />(b) Duplexes shall provide two off - street parking spaces; multiple family <br />dwellings, apartment houses and apartment house complexes shall provide off - <br />street parking spaces as follows: for efficiency or one bedroom apartments, <br />one and one - fourth (13-4-) parking spaces per unit; for two or more bedroom <br />apartments, one and one -half (11�0 parking spaces per unit; for combinations <br />of the above the number of parking spaces shall be prorated. <br />33 <br />
