RES. 318,2007-2008, SUB 1 <br />Maximum Cost: $50,000 <br />Purchase Order No: <br />Number of Pages: <br />Corporation Counsel Approval: F 7Zi� <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between the County of Dane (hereafter <br />referred to as "County"), whose address is 1202 Northport Dr., Madison, WI 53704, and, Dane <br />County — Department of Planning and Development (hereafter, "SUBRECIPIENT"), as to the <br />respective dates representatives of both parties have affixed their respective signatures. <br />WITNESETH: <br />WHEREAS COUNTY has applied for and received Community Development Block Grant <br />(hereinafter called "CDBG") Funds, from the United States Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development (hereinafter called "HUD") as provided by the Housing and Community <br />Development Act of 1974, as amended; and <br />WHEREAS it is the intent of this Agreement that all services performed pursuant to this <br />Agreement will be performed only in those municipalities that are participating in the Urban <br />County Partnership, SUBRECIPIENT being either one such participating municipality or a <br />nonprofit organization providing services in a participating municipality, and <br />WHEREAS SUBRECIPIENT has heretofore agreed with COUNTY to participate with COUNTY in <br />an application for CDBG funds to carry out the Housing and Community Development goals <br />identified in the HUD -approved Dane County Consolidated Plan, 2004 - 2008; and <br />WHEREAS COUNTY has considered and approved the application of SUBRECIPIENT and <br />hereby agrees to distribute a portion of the total CDBG funds allotted to COUNTY, based upon <br />COUNTY and participating municipalities' population, with a portion distributed to <br />SUBRECIPIENT being an amount and upon the conditions provided herein; and <br />WHEREAS COUNTY and SUBRECIPIENT enter into this Agreement pursuant to their respective <br />powers to enter into such Agreements, as those powers are defined in the State of Wisconsin <br />Constitution and applicable statutes. <br />
