ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT No. 657 <br />Creating the;O)nservancy District <br />The Dane County Board of 'Supervisors does ordain as follows: <br />A. That Section 10.02, Districts, be amended 13' adding the following: <br />(p) 00-1 Conservancy District <br />B. That the ordinance be ;amended by inserting the following after'Section 10.15: <br />10.155 CO -1 Conservancy District <br />(1) Uses Permitted <br />(a) Hunting. fishing and trapping. <br />(b) Propagation and raising of game animals, fowl and fish. <br />(c) Sustained yield forestry. <br />(d) The harvesting of any wild crops such as marsh hay, ferns, moss, berries, tree <br />fruits and tree seeds. <br />(e) Grazing. <br />(f) Dams and hydro -electric power stations. <br />(g) Communication and power transmission lines or towers; other public utility <br />lines or facilities. <br />(h) If the land is publicly owned, such facilities as the owning or controlling <br />agency shall direct, including without limitation because of enumeration, camping. <br />boat landings, sale of bait, boat and motor rental, sale of gasoline for boats, re- <br />freshment facilities and the like. <br />(i) If the land is privately owned, those facilities listed in (h) hereof, pro- <br />vided that the zoning committee, after public hearing, shall determine that such <br />facilities are in the public interest and the proposed location is suitable. <br />(j) Non-residential buildings or structures accessory to any permitted use. <br />(k) Residential or housing facilities for person employed on the premises. <br />(1) Improvement of water courses and bodies of water. <br />(2) Uses Prohibited <br />(a) If the land is privately owned, any filling of marsh land, removal of top soil <br />or damming or relocation of any water course unless approved by the zoning committee <br />after public hearing. <br />Adopted — — — — — — — — — _ 1957 Effective _ _ _ - — — _ _1957 <br />
