Page #4 <br />Subsection 10.25 (4) (b) is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />(b) Authority: The Dane County Zoning Co=ittee, after a public hearingmayapprove or deny or recon end to the Dane County Board of Supervisors <br />to approve or derby an application for approval of.site. Prior to ap- <br />proving or recom ending to the Dane County Board of Supervisors for <br />approval, the Zoning Committee shall make findings based on the evidence <br />presented and as a result of the investigation and irasr Notion the <br />Zoning; Committee, that the standards prescribed in f0.25__(4_T_g are <br />colied with. - <br />Subsection 10.25 (5) (a) is hereby renumbered to 10.25 (6) (a). <br />A new subsection 1.0.25 (5) (a) thru (f) is hereby created to read as follows: <br />(5) Certificate of Compliance <br />(a) No building or addition thereto, constructed after the effective date <br />of this ordinance and no addition to a previously existing building <br />shall be occupied, except accessory buildings used exclusively for <br />farming or agricultural purposes; and no land vacant except that used <br />exclusively for farming or agricultural purposes on the effective day <br />of this ordinance shall be used for any purpose until a certificate of <br />compliance has been issued by the County Zoning Supervisor..'Every <br />certificate of compliance shall, state the use and occupancy and the <br />location of the building or buildings or use of land cozTlies with all <br />of the provisions of this ordinance. <br />(b) Every application for a building permit shall be considered to be an <br />' application for a certificate of conpliance. <br />(c) An application for a certificate of corVIiance for a new use or a change <br />in use of land or a building shall be made directly to the Zoning <br />Supervisor. <br />(d) No certificate of compliance for a building or addition thereto, con- <br />structed after the effective date of this orainance shall be issued <br />until construction has been substantially cox leted and the premises <br />inspected and certified by the Zoning Supervisor to be in conformity <br />with the specifications on which the pelt was iesued. , The Zonis <br />Supervisor may establish rules by which a temporary certificate of <br />compliance Zay be issued for a part of a building. <br />(e) Any person, firm or corporation having to legal or equitable interest <br />in a property which is non -conforming as to use or building location <br />may request a certificate of compliance, Said applicant shall present <br />documentary proof that said use was a permitted use at the time it <br />originated or that the building had been erected prior to the adoption <br />of this ordinance and was made non -conforming by the adoption of this <br />ordinance or amendment thereto. After certifying that the use of <br />building or land are in fact non -conforms the Zoning Supervisor shall <br />issue a. certificate of compliance statim the use in question or the <br />location of buildings and the zoning of the property. <br />(f) 'Fees <br />1. For certificates of compliance issued under (b) or (d) above,.or if <br />the building hard been erected since the adoption of the zoning ordinance <br />and a, permit issued by the Zoning Supervisor to cover sam,, no additional <br />fee shall be charged. <br />2. For certificates of compliance issued under (c)* or (e) above, a fee <br />
