ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT #1810 Amending the text of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 10). The Dane County Board of Supervisors does ordain as follows: Repeal the preamble to Chapter 10, Dane County Zoning Ordinance and recreate to read as follows: An ordinance, to be known as Chapter 10, Dane County Zoning Ordinance as adopted by the Dane County Board of Supervisors on July 20, 1938 as amended and including a comprehensive revision adopted by the Dane County Board of Supervisors on May 18, 1950 as amended: for the purpose or promoting the public health, safety and general welfare by regulating, restricting and determining the location of trades and industries, the location, height, bulky number of stories, and size of buildings and other structures, the percentage of lot which may be occupied, the size of yards and other open spaces, the density of popu- lation, the location of buildings designed for specific uses; the areas along natural water courses, streams and creeks in which trades and industries and the location of buildings for specific uses may be prohibited; establishing setback lines; and establish- ing districts of such number, shape and area deemed best suited to carry out the purposes of this ordinance as it applies to lands outside the limits of incorporated cities and villages in Dane County; and providing penalties, pursuant to the authorization of Sections 59.97, 59.971, 59.99 and 87.30 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Repeal subsection 10.01 (22) and recreate to read as follows: (22) Hare occupation: any occupation for gain or profit conducted only by members of the family resident upon the premises, provided that no articles may be sold or offered for sale except those produced on the premises and no article may be dis- played so as to be visible fromthe street or highway.
