<br />Amend subsection 10.01 (54) to read as follows:
<br />(54) Slaughter house, meat processing plant: any building or premises used commercially
<br />for the killing or dressing of cattle, sheep, swine, goats or horses, for human
<br />consumption and the storage, freezinq and curing of meat and the preparation of meat
<br />products.
<br />Repeal subsection 10.01 (59) and recreate to read as follows:
<br />(59) Structure: See building.
<br />Create a new subsection 10.01 (40) to read as follows:
<br />(40) Refuse: Refuse means combustible and noncombustible rubbish, including
<br />but not limited to paper, wood metal, glass, cloth, and products thereof; litter
<br />and street rubbish, ashes; and lumber, concrete and other debris resulting from
<br />the construction or demolition of structures.
<br />Create a new subsection (43b) to read as follows:
<br />(43b) Sanitary landfill: Sanitary landfill is a type of land disposal operation
<br />involving the disposal of solid waste on land. E
<br />Create a new subsection (54a) to read as follows:
<br />(54a) Solid waste: Solid waste means garbage, refuse and all other dis-
<br />carded or salvageable solid materials, including solid waste materials resulting
<br />from industrial, commercial, operations, and from domestic use and public service
<br />activities, but does not include solids or dissolved material in waste water efflu-
<br />ents or other common water pollutants.
<br />Create a new subsection (54b) to read as follows:
<br />(54b) Solid waste disposal operation: A solid waste disposal operation is the
<br />operation of maintenance of a solid waste disposal site or facility, for the col-
<br />lection, storage, utilization, processing, or final disposal of solid waste, in-
<br />cluding, but not limited to, land disposal, incineration, transfer, air curtain
<br />destruction, composting reduction, shredding, compression, processing, and salvage.
<br />In house re -use of imperfect finished products to make a merchantable finished pro-
<br />duct is not a solid waste disposal operation.
