Dane County Planning & Development
Room 116, City -County Building, Madison, Wisconsin 53703-3342
September 30, 2009
J. Dean
206 Jackson Street
Madison, Wisconsin 53704
Re: # 061032199050
NE1/4 S32 T6N R10E
Town of Dunn
Dane County
Dear J. Dean:
•
Land Division Review
603/266-9086
In response to your communication of 09/28/09 a search of the public record has
been completed for the purpose of providing the requested parcel status
determination. It is apparent that the subject 1.0 acre land parcel, described in
Document # 4585007, Dane County Registry, was created as a separate legal entity
without the required Dane County certified survey map approval and without the
required change in zoning classification (the current zoning of this parcel is A-1
Agriculture Exclusive). In order to correct this illegal parcel status, a change in
zoning classification, together with a Dane County certified survey map approval
will be required. The mere preparation of a boundary survey in 1964 did not create
a valid separate parcel status.
Sincerely,
Norbert Scribner, Dane County Land Division Review
cc: Clerk, Town of Dunn
Cheney Land Surveying
Enclosure:
