Dane Coun ry Planning & Development
Room 116: City -County Building, Madison, Wisconsin 53709 Land Division Review
608/266-9086
April 6, 2004
Dale E. Pope
Roethe Law Firm
P.O. Box 151
Edgerton, Wisconsin 53534
Re: # 051232291801, # 051232294200
NW1/4 S32 T5N R12E
Town of Albion
Dane County
Dear Attorney Pope:
Any division of the subject land parcel will require a change in zoning classification,
together with a certified survey map approval. The Dane County Land Division
Regulations, which became effective in 1970, require each new land parcel to
maintain a minimum of 66' of frontage on a public street. The Dane County Code
clearly requires compliance with the provisions that are applicable at the time of
land division.
Where evidence of genuine hardship exists, the Dane County Zoning & Natural
Resources Committee maintains the authority to waive any of the ordinance
provisions. Evidence of genuine hardship is defined by the applicant. Convenience
is normally not considered to be evidence of genuine hardship.
Sinc 1..
Norbert Scribner, Land Division Review
cc: Robert L. Cook
Clerk, Town of Albion
Enclosure:
