January 11, 1999
Mr. James Gregorius
Dane County Planning&Development -Zoning Division
Room 116, City-County Building
210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd
Madison, WI 53709
Dear Mr. Gregorius:
I write this letter in reference to Zoning Petition#7409, for Al and Lori Breunig.
Our Town Clerk submitted a Town Board Action Report (copy attached) showing that
the Town Planning Commission and the Town Board have voted unanimously to approve
the rezoning. While this is true, the Clerk did not include the following conditions that
were agreed upon by all parties, including neighbors, the Town Planning Commission,
Al&Lori Breunig, and the Town Board:
The driveway serving the R112 parcel must be upgraded to a 12 foot
minimum width and be no closer than ten feet to the line fence. (I am told that a
recent survey shows that the line fence is not on the property line, creating another
potential problem.) The shoulders must be pitched and culverts added under the
driveway where needed. Breunig Road access must be made right to accomodate an
adjacent new culvert under Breunig Road to suit neighbors' drainage. The cabin
on the owner's property is not to be used as living quarters.
The Town Board Action Report approving this rezoning did not specify the above
conditions because the Town Clerk believed that conditions did not need to be considered
at this time. It appears that he was mistaken, and I submit this letter to correct the record.
I believe this matter is scheduled for County action this week. If you have any
questions, feel free to call me at work(242-4100 x30507) or home(643-2284).
Sincerely,
6104"4
Charles Breunig
Supervisor- Town of Roxbury
