TOWN OF COTTAGE GROVE <br /> REGULAR BOARD MEETING <br /> JULY 20, 1998 <br /> I. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Skaar at 8:00 P.M. Members present: <br /> Steve Anders,Kris Hampton, Silvin Kurt,Gene Skaar. <br /> II. Minutes of Previous Meeting: MOTION by Kurt/Anders to approve minutes of Regular <br /> Board Meeting on July 6, 1998 with addition to XV. A. of word"and"between Parks <br /> Committee and Chairman Ray Zit. MOTION CARRIED. Hampton abstained. <br /> III. Finance Report: MOTION by Hampton/Anders to approve payment of bills <br /> corresponding to checks#2826—2841 with#2838 being voided. MOTION CARRIED. <br /> MOTION by Hampton/Kurt to approve net worth statement at$408,266.71. MOTION <br /> CARRIED. <br /> MOTION by Kurt/Hampton to pay building and plumbing inspector's with next payroll. <br /> MOTION CARRIED. <br /> MOTION by Hampton/Anders for treasurer to apply to bank for a no fee credit card in, <br /> the name of the Town. MOTION CARRIED. <br /> IV. Public Concerns: None <br /> V. Parks Committee Membership Discussion: Trisha Englehard asked if inspection needs to <br /> be done on installed equipment before the children can begin playing on it. Chairman <br /> Skaar will call insurance carrier to see if they want to send an inspector or should we <br /> have Jeff Smith or Tom Viilcen inspect it. <br /> VI. Dane County Petitions: <br /> A. #7341 —C. J. Vale. MOTION by Kurt/Hampton to change zoning to A-2 on <br /> remainder of lands. MOTION CARRIED. <br /> B. #7284—Ofsthun. MOTION by Hampton/Kurt to accept change from RH3 to A-1 EX <br /> for .15 acre. MOTION CARRIED. <br /> C. #1509—Ofsthun. MOTION by Anders/Hampton to reinterate that Planning <br /> Committee recommended and Town Board approved C.U.P. for 15 acres not 50.2 <br /> acres. If they want more acres,they will have to reappear and reapply. Supervisor <br /> Anders will attend the Dane County Zoning Meeting on July 28, 1998,to protect the <br /> Towns interest. MOTION CARRIED. <br /> VII. Dahl Plat—2"d Addition to Rolling Wheels: MOTION by Hampton/Kurt to approve <br /> Contract for Subdivision Improvements with changes made by adding Section F. <br /> Waterways: Between lots#44 &45 and Lots#45 & 46 will be constructed and in place <br /> by the time the road is constructed. <br />
