Edge Consulting has received <br /> responses from the Ho-Chunk Nation,the Keweenaw Bay Indian <br /> Community,the Kickapoo Tribe,the Lac Vieux Desert Band,the Lower <br /> Brule Sioux Tribe,the Menominee Indian Tribe,the Miami Tribe,the Mille <br /> Lacs Band,the Ottawa Tribe,the Prairie Band,the Sac and Fox Tribe of the <br /> Mississippi in Iowa,the Shawnee Tribe,the Winnebago Tribe,and the <br /> Wyandotte Nation,all with no objections to the site. Copies of <br /> correspondence with the tribal bodies are included as an attachment in <br /> Appendix E. <br /> c. Edge Consulting requested the FCC initiate government to government <br /> contact with all tribes that had not yet responded on October 4,2010. <br /> Edge Consulting received an email from the FCC dated October 7,2010 <br /> stating,"If you or Commission staff do not receive a statement of interest <br /> regarding a particular project from any Tribe or NHO within 20 calendar <br /> days of 10/07/2010,your obligations under Section IV of the NPA with <br /> respect to these Indian Tribes or NHOs are complete." <br /> 3.) Edge Consulting contacted the local government agency with primary land use <br /> jurisdiction over the proposed lease area,the Town of Rutland,with written <br /> notification of the project and an invitation to comment on the potential to impact <br /> historic properties. To date,no comments regarding historic properties have been <br /> received. A copy of the notice has been included in Appendix G. In addition,the <br /> Oregon Area Historical Society was provided with written notification of the project <br /> and an invitation to comment on the potential to impact historic properties. To <br /> date,no comments regarding historic properties have been received. There are <br /> no additional parties that were Invited to participate or independently requested <br /> to participate. No other groups to be provided notice for this particular area were <br /> identified. <br /> 4.) A public notice was placed in the Oregon Observer and Stoughton Courier Hub in <br /> the March 10,2011 editions. The notice provided information on the project and <br /> provided an opportunity for members of the public to comment on potential <br /> effects on historic properties. To date,no comments regarding historic properties <br /> have been received.
