Petition 7263/CUP 1505: <br /> Many of the potential impacts surrounding this request are impossible to evaluate without a <br /> sufficiently detailed site plan. More detailed information is needed on the exact location of the <br /> proposed parking lot,the intended use for the remainder of the 14-acre RE-1 parcel, and the <br /> location of existing and proposed lights, ski slopes and structures in the two parcels to the south. <br /> Also, field verification by a qualified archaeologist of the possible Native American burial <br /> mound should be conducted before any further construction or earthmoving takes place in Parcel <br /> 0706-331-9590. Finally,the rezoning of the 14-acre lot will exacerbate survey and zoning <br /> irregularities resulting from the illegal creation of a substandard A-1(ex) lot. <br /> B. Suggested Conditions of Approval <br /> The committee may wish to postpone action on both these proposals until detailed information as <br /> suggested above can be provided and adequately reviewed. The committee may also wish to <br /> direct staff to contact Mr. Reinhold and the Town of Vermont about bringing illegally created <br /> parcels into compliance at the same time, and providing for appropriate zoning for the whole <br /> area. <br /> 5 <br />
