Phase III: • Sand and gravel will be extracted from this Phase only if permits can be obtained from the DNR and Dane County to operate within the 500 ft. limit of Badger Mill Creek. • At the completion of sand and gravel extraction from Phase II and/or Phase III (again, Phase III is dependent on permit acquisition), the remainder of Phase I will be extracted, processed, and delivered. • Phase I will then be reclaimed per the reclamation included in the plans. Operational Items: • Hours of Operation: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. • No fuel will be stored on the site. • All equipment will be fueled as needed by fuel delivery trucks. • All truck loads leaving the site will be tarped. • A fugitive dust control plan will be implemented. Aggregate Washing: 3000- 7000 gallons per day that plant operates. c. All water from the wash plant is delivered to a series of retention ponds for re-use or returned to groundwater. Reclamation: *See reclamation plan. • All berms will have final slopes flatter than 3:1. • The site will be clear of debris and left in a workmanlike condition at final reclamation. • • All reclaimed areas will be covered with topsoil and seeded to prevent erosion. 5
