stone, every 75 to 100 feet) and silt fences. See Exhibit A.
Also we propose to construct a two to three foot berm along the southeast portion of
the site to filter any potential storm water runoff. The berm will be constructed of
stripped topsoil/overburden and will be seeded. Also, there will be a retention basin
constructed in the northeast corner of the site to contain surface water. In addition,
there will be banks constructed on the western center edge and the northern center
edge of the subject property. The banks will be constructed utilizing a 1 :1 slope and
will be seeded.
A erosion control plan covering the entire CUP area for the duration of the operations
will be submitted, and approval of an erosion control permit will be received prior to
commencing extraction operations.
Please note that there will not be any pumping of water on this site.
In addition, Exhibit A also shows the location of the retention basin which will be built
and maintained in order to contain surface water on lot P-7.
Reclamation Plan
The subject property will be reclaimed as a future commercial / industrial building site
as part of East Metro Business Park. The property will be restored in phases. As the
initial phases have all the select fill material removed and a new phase is started, the
previous phases will be restored with the topsoil that was stockpiled from the initial
phases or from the stripping of the new phase.
See Exhibit D which shows the final proposed elevations after the select fill sand
extraction process is finalized.
