TOWN OF BERRY PLANNING COMMISSION Black Earth Fire Station <br /> DATE: January 18, 1999 <br /> Meeting was called to order by Chair Barb Ripp-Statz. Present were Ripp- <br /> Statz, V. Theis, S. Theis, Bankes, Carlson, Wendt & Hodgson. <br /> The Minutes for the December meeting were approved as corrected. Motion <br /> by Wendt seconded by V. Theis. <br /> File 99001 <br /> Eugene Maier 5007 Hillpoint Rd present to request 3 lots on Brewery Rd. to <br /> rezone from Al-Ex to RH1 for homesites. Lot 1 is 2.5 acres, Lot 2 is 2.5 <br /> acres and Lot 3 is 2.4 acres. All three front on Brewery Rd and all meet <br /> town Land Use Plan specs. Site visit by 6 Commission members on Jan 16. All <br /> 3 will meet Driveway Ordinance specs. Motion by Wendt for approval seconded <br /> by V. Theis. Discussion. Vote 7-0 for approval. <br /> File 99002 <br /> Steve Danz 8979 FarView Rd present to request rezone of 4.5 acre lot on Far <br /> View Rd. from Al-Ex to RH2. This is final lot for this land parcel. Frontage <br /> would be on FarView Rd. with approx 3+acres on unused wooded area. Lot meets <br /> all Town Land Use specs and will meet Driveway'Ordinance. Slope is nill. <br /> Site visit by 6 Commission members on Jan 16. Motion by Wendt for approval <br /> seconded by Ripp-Statz. Vote 7-0 for approval. <br /> File 99003 <br /> Kendall Kahl present for Curtis Kahl requesting boundary changes on 2 <br /> previously approved CSM lots on Turkey Rd. Per Kahl, intent is for lot line <br /> adjustments for nicer building sites and also to add more land to Lot 2 <br /> to accomadate a mound system. Sites visited by 6 Commission members on Jan <br /> 16. Motion for approval by Bankes seconded by Wendt. No further discussion. <br /> Vote 7-0 for approval. <br /> File 98018 <br /> Request from Doug Schwartz for approval of final driveway inspection on <br /> building site on Hillpoint Rd. Site visited by Commission but due to snow <br /> cover, unable to inspect. Motion by Wendt to postpone seconded by V. Theis. <br /> Vote for later inspection approved 7-0. <br /> File 98001 <br /> Request by Dave Yelk for final inspection of driveway off Otto Kerl Rd. <br /> Preliminary inspection not held after rough grade due to mis-information <br /> available. Driveway was partially cleard of snow. Inspection by Commission <br /> members found one portion to exeed 12%. Reading was 15.5 using <br /> stick/rule/level method. Carl Lochner from Boehnen Const. protested result <br /> of Commission inspection noting his company used the laser method and was <br /> within limits. Motion by Carlson seconded by V. Theis to postpone vote until <br /> Commission can meet with Lochner to re-inspect. Lochner asked why no prelim <br /> inspection was held before final grade put on. Suggested town get an Engineer <br /> to follow driveway steps. Vote 6-1 for postponment. <br /> File 99004 <br /> Preliminary request from Mr. Jensen (not present) for non-conforming use <br />
