other aggregate or recycled materials in accordance with <br /> appropriate size and physical characteristics, (e) selling and <br /> hauling the crushed rock, other aggregate and recycled materials <br /> from the quarry site, and (f) related activities . Equipment to <br /> be used in the operations include earthmovers, bulldozers, <br /> loaders, scrapers, trucks, rock drills, blasting equipment, <br /> conveyors, pumps, primary, secondary, and tertiary crushers, <br /> sizing equipment, seismographic and air monitoring equipment and <br /> scales. A more specific description of the operations is as <br /> follows . <br /> A. Area. The CUP area is legally described as : Part <br /> of the NW,A of the SW1,(, and the SW'A' of the SW1,l, Section 25, Town <br /> 8N, Range 10E, Town of Burke, Dane County, Wisconsin, described <br /> as follows: (consisting of approximately seventy (70) acres . ) <br /> (Parcel Nos . 07-0810-253-8500-7 and 07-0810-253-9000-0 . ) <br /> B. Site Plan. A site plan was filed with the CUP <br /> application materials. <br /> C. Time Schedule. The mineral extraction site will <br /> be developed in coordination with the phase down and cessation of <br /> mineral extraction operations conducted under CUP 788 at 5067 <br /> Reiner Road, Town of Burke, Dane County, Wisconsin and in <br /> sequential phases according to the plans filed with the CUP <br /> application materials. <br /> D. Blasting. Filed with the CUP application <br /> materials was an agreement entered into by and between Operator <br /> and ANR Pipeline Company respecting explosive parameters and <br /> blasting conditions. All blasting shall be conducted in strict <br /> accordance with the State of Wisconsin regulations and will be <br /> undertaken by licensed blasters. There shall be no blasting <br /> within 150 feet of the existing pipeline located under the <br /> Property, and all blasting shall conform to the explosive <br /> parameters and conditions set forth in the Agreement between the <br /> Operator and ANR Pipeline Company. No explosives shall be stored <br /> on the Property. No flyrock will leave the Property. When <br /> blasting, peak particle velocities will be maintained below 2 <br /> in./sec when measured in accordance with State of Wisconsin <br /> regulations. When blasting within 250 feet of the pipeline, a <br /> minimum of two seismographs shall be located over the pipeline. <br /> When blasting outside 250 feet of the pipeline, one seismograph <br /> shall be located at various positions around the perimeter of the <br /> CUP area. When blasting is to be done, those neighbors living on <br /> Reiner Road from Burke Road to 5107 Reiner Road and all homes on <br /> Sandy Lee Lane will be notified in writing no less than eighteen <br /> hours in advance of the proposed blasting operation. The manner <br /> of giving notice will be by giving a copy of the notice to each <br /> such neighbor or leaving copy of the notice inside or affixed to <br /> each such neighbor' s door. In addition, other neighbors who have <br /> requested in writing to be notified in writing no less than <br /> eighteen hours in advance of the proposed blasting operation will <br /> be so notified.
