I appreciate your consideration of this matter <br /> and your efforts to pinpoint areas where you need information. <br /> I. Operation Plan <br /> 1. A timetable for initiating and ceasing of quarry <br /> operations, months of operation if seasonal. <br /> Applicant proposes a delayed opening to the year 2000 <br /> unless the abutting quarry (Carpenter) ceases to provide <br /> materials for the area needs. Applicant will remove a <br /> small amount of material each year between now and the <br /> time the Carpenter Pit ceases to operate to satisfy <br /> permit operation requirements. These materials include <br /> limestone and limerock products produced for road use and <br /> ag lime for use as fertilizer for the area needs. <br /> The operation will be year around and applicant requests <br /> a twenty (20) year conditional use permit. Applicant <br /> anticipates requesting a ten ( 10) year extension. <br /> Considering the amount of material present in this entire <br /> deposit, applicant does not believe that all limerock <br /> will be extracted during the time of the permit and <br /> extension. <br /> 24 N.
