James Gregorius
January 18, 1996
Page Seven
11. Routes to be used to transport material from site.
The applicant has proposed installing a private roadway
across Section 23 to be used to transport materials to
County Trunk Highway B. (See map of Paul Road included in
materials) Those materials will be transported to County
Trunk Highway B. Public roadways will be used to
transport materials to their destination.
II. Reclamation Plan:
1. A timetable of the commencement, duration, and cessation
of reclamation activities.
- work to reclaim will commence as soon as any portion of
the site is no longer involved in extraction, stockpiling
or marshalling needs
- at no time should there be more than eight (8) acres
exposed and reclaim would continue to be addressed as
long as extraction continues
- if extraction ceases or an area is complete, the
exposed areas will be reclaimed within one( 1) year.
2. A map or plan and description of the proposed reclamation
including grading, final slopes, benching or terracing,
slope stabilization, re-vegetation, and erosion control.
Grading to be handled by scrapers and/or graders to
restore the over burdened subsoil and topsoil on slopes
having no greater angle than 22-1/2° ( 1-4 slope) .
Slope stabilization, re-vegetation or erosion control on
a 22-1/2° slope will be accomplished (as quickly as
possible) by seeding a recommended forage crop.
3. Description of topsoil stripping, salvaging and
stabilization.
Topsoil stripping will be done by use of scrapers which
will stockpile as topsoil or subsoil. These soils types
will be separated with stockpile stabilization to be
accomplished by seeding the stockpiles with a fibrous
rooted fast growing grass type plant (oats/rye) or
Timothy along with long term forage crops. No soil
stripped from the property will be removed from the
property and will be retained for reclamation.
24 N.
