Each point or comment has been .
discussed with Town Board members and citizens of the Township
of Christiana--
The Town Board is adamant regarding point number 8. Stanley
Lien, agent and spokesperson for Howard Lien & Sons (hereinafter
referred to as owner/applicant) offered the installation a
roadway and access across Section 23 leading from the proposed
pit area to County Trunk Highway B. This is important due to
the possible damage to the Township roads. Crossing Section 23
is very important and it of utmost concern to the Township and
their citizens.
The Township' s recommended conditions, limitations and points
are as follows: (please refer to enclosed map for reference
points)
1. Area I 4th phase of Map: (pink, left middle) No CUP
approval due to size of deposit and easement of the power
line.
2 . Area II 1st phase of Map: (orange) CUP approved area
subject to conditions. The area is from the westerly edge
of the east power line easement to the easterly edge of the
west power line easement.
3 . Area III 2nd phase of Map: (pink, right middle) . No CUP
approval due to location of the Dane County Park and impact
on the citizens in the Town of Christiana, Village of
Rockdale and Village of Cambridge.
4 . Area IV 3rd phase of Map: (blue) CUP approved area
subject to conditions. This area is approved due to the
site adjoining quarry.
The quarry operation shall commence in Area II and when the
limerock supply is exhausted, the quarry operation shall
then move to Area IV. It is the Township desire that only
one area be in operation at any one time.
