Opening of the pit in the year 2000 unless the adjoining <br /> Carpenter pit ceases operation of their field lime <br /> - production. The restriction to open the pit in the year <br /> 2000 was requested by the applicant. In the event the <br /> Carpenter pit ceases operation of their field lime <br /> production, then the "Lien" pit shall be permitted to open <br /> so there would be no hardship on the Township farmers to <br /> obtain their agricultural field lime. <br /> 7 . CUP shall be valid for a ten (10) year period from the date <br /> of approval by Dane County. The applicant may apply for <br /> renewal for five (5) year periods within six (6) months <br /> prior to expiration of the CUP. Each renewal shall be \for <br /> a five (5) year period only. <br /> 8 . Ingress and egress to the quarry shall be across Section 23 <br /> to Highway B. The applicant, during his presentation to <br /> the public, stated that ingress and egress would be across <br /> this section to save the wear and tear on Township roads. <br /> This ingress/egress shall be used as a "haul road" and <br /> shall be maintained dust free by the owner/,operator. We <br /> direct your attention to the red line on Exhibit A and the <br /> red line on Exhibit B for reference. <br /> In the event crossing Section 23 is not acceptable to your <br /> committee, the Township is requiring the applicant to bring <br /> Koshkonong Road (from Highland to Clearview) and Clearview <br /> Road (south from Koshkonong Road to County Truck Highway B) <br /> up to Class A, Highway standards consistent with Dane County <br /> Highway and Department of Transportation regulations. <br /> Applicant shall improve the visibility of the Clearview <br /> Road to provide a minimum of a 500 feet line of sight or <br /> consistent with the regulations and recommendations of the <br /> Dane County Highway Department or those agencies in charge <br /> of roadway regulations. All roadway construction plans <br /> shall be submitted to the Town of Christiana, Dane County <br /> Highway Department, and the Department of Transportation <br /> for approval. There shall be a turning lane installed at <br /> the intersection of Clearview Road/Koshkonong Road and <br /> Clearview Road/County Trunk B. <br /> No Town roads, other than across Section 23 , shall be used <br /> without specific written permission of the Town Board in <br /> unusual circumstances. <br /> 9 . The Town of Christiana shall negotiate with the <br /> owner/operator the number of holes shot. <br />
