This area is approved due to the <br /> site of the adjoining quarry. <br /> 2 . The Owner/Operator ' s <br /> quarry operation shall commence in Area <br /> II and when the lime rock supply is exhausted, the quarry <br /> operation shall then move to Area I and when the lime rock <br /> supply is exhausted, then move to Area IV. There may be only <br /> one area be in operation at any one time. <br /> 3 . Open excavation area shall not exceed eight (8) acres . <br /> 4 . Opening of the quarrying operation shall be in the year 2000 <br /> unless the adjoining Carpenter pit ceases operation of their <br /> field lime production. In the event the Carpenter pit ceases <br /> operation of their field lime production, then the Owner ' s <br /> quarrying operation shall be permitted to open for the <br /> production of agricultural field lime and lime rock products <br /> for owners use only and not for public resale until the year <br /> 2000. <br /> 5. Conditional Use Permit Number 1262 (CUP) shall be valid for a <br /> • fifteen (15) year period from April 1, 1996. The applicant <br /> may apply for renewal for five (5) year periods within six (6) <br /> months prior to expiration of the CUP. Each renewal shall be <br /> for a five (5) year period only. Prior to the year 2000, <br /> Owner may engage in minimal activity to satisfy the <br /> requirements of Dane County Zoning so the CUP does not lapse. <br /> This activity shall be directed to road building requirements <br /> as set forth in this CUP or other minimal activities such as <br /> taking one load of agricultural lime from the quarrying site <br /> yearly. <br /> 6. Ingress and egress to the quarrying operation shall be across <br /> Section 23 to Highway B. The sitting and location of the <br /> access which shall be from Koshkonong Road in a Southerly <br /> direction to County Truck Highway B shall be located and <br /> established by Owner subject to Township ' s approval. This <br /> ingress/egress shall be used as a haul road and all reasonable <br /> efforts shall be taken by Owner to minimize dust on the haul <br /> road. The Township shall contribute no monies or services in <br /> the construction of the service road. For reference, a <br /> approximate location of the service road is set forth as the <br /> red line on Exhibit 1 . <br /> 7 . No Township roads shall be used as haul roads without specific <br /> written permission of the Township. <br />
