A 4 Construct a tracking pad at least 30'x 150'x 12" with 3 to 4-inch clear stone over geo-
textile fabric to prevent mud tracking off-site onto public road during construction.
5. The riprap from elevation 857.1 to elevation 854 can be replaced with a PVC-coated
gabion structure. The gabion structure will allow the delivery of the runoff as sheet flow.
The gabion will have small riprap at the bottom into the channel. The gabion structure is
used to spread the flow and to reduce the energy of the runoff into the drainage way. The
same concept can be applied to the overflow area at the east basin.
6. The round-about shall be lower at the center at 1-foot. Also, in the center, there shall be a
small area of 1-square foot and 2-feet in depth of stone connected to a drain tile with
outlet to the rock filled gabion.
7. The pond outlet has been designed to trap the 2 micron particle and will have a permanent
reduction greater than 80%of the sediment. The outlets for pond 3, East Basin and
Middle Pond for the 100-year storm event are: 0.28, 0.77 and 0.85 cfs. Any changes or
different sizing of the outlet will be considered a violation of the plan.
8. All of the ponds will be over-excavated 1-foot to store the sediment during the entire life
of the construction project.
9. All material deposited on public roads shall be cleaned or swept up daily.
10. The greenway shall be protected according to the plan with erosion mat.
11. A copy of the erosion control plan shall be maintained at the site for further review for
compliance of the plan.
12. The gravel drive for each building during construction shall be with geo-textile fabric and
minimum of 6-inches of stone D50=3 inches.
13. When the project starts and progress in construction is occurring, Greg Barry, from TDI
Associates Inc., shall notify Dane County Zoning that the plan has been implemented
according to the design and specifications as presented.
Any proposed changes to the erosion control plan must be submitted to Dane County Zoning with
a copy to Dane County Land Conservation for approval.
cc: Pat Anderson,Dane County Zoning
Mice Halsted,Wisconsin DNR
Tom Wilson, Town of Westport
Bill Gilbert, Owner
2
