We are in the business of
developing land for residential housing and have a preliminary
design for our property which would contain almost 170 lots.
The development design has been submitted to the City as a
preliminary plat called Sandstone Ridge. Our property has
already been annexed to the City of Madison; included as part
of the City's "Cross Country Neighborhood Development Plan"
and been approved by the Regional Plan Commission as part of
the City's Urban Service Area. We believe this property is
now prime for development and have set our own finished lot
timetable at July, 1994 .
We believe the Conditional Use Permit request of Wingra
Stone Co. should be denied because it does not meet the
"Standards" described in Sec. 10.255 (2) (h) of the Dane County
Ordinances. This section clearly states that ". . .NO
application for a conditional use shall be granted by the
zoning committee unless such committee shall find that ALL of
the following conditions are present:"
