The site is suitable for quarrying activity for the following <br /> reasons : <br /> 1 . A quality source of limestone does exist on the site . <br /> 2 . Close access to a Class A Highway for hauling purposes . <br /> 3 . Limited residences in the area. All residences are in <br /> excess of 1000 feet from the actual quarry area. <br /> 4 . Groundwater is approximately 35 ' below the bottom of <br /> the limestone deposit . <br /> 5 . This site can and will be restored to farmland. <br /> 6 . The use complies with the Town of Vienna land use plan. <br /> 7 . Mineral extraction activity will not take place closer <br /> than 100 ' from the property limits . <br /> 8 . All topsoil will be stored on site and used in reclamation <br /> of the site. <br /> 9 . The reclaimed areas will be seeded. <br /> 10 . The site is less than four miles from Payne & Dolan' s <br /> asphalt plant on Norway Grove School Road. <br /> 11 . Those areas which are not involved in quarrying activity <br /> will be used as farmland. <br /> 12 . No additional public services will be required. <br /> 13 . No flood plain areas exist on the parcel or in any of <br /> Section 34 . <br /> 14 . The surrounding lands are predominantly farmland, with <br /> small woodland areas . <br /> Payne & Dolan, Inc . has operated pits , quarries, and asphalt <br /> plants in the State of Wisconsin since 1930, and in the Town of <br /> Vienna since 1974 .
