Variance <br /> is necessary to permit construction of a garage on a parcel located <br /> in part of the NE 4 NW4 of Section 23, Town of Fitchburg. <br /> IN FAVOR: Ed Lynaugh; Problem is caused by steep drop in terrain of <br /> lot which would require 5-6' of fill to keep garage level with drive <br /> and also due to the fact that Syene Road is only 50' wide at this point. <br /> A 30' setback from R.O.W. would be provided but would be short on the <br /> 63' requirement to the center line. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: No Communication. <br /> #391. Appeal by St. Josephs College for a Special Exception Permit to <br /> place pilings and rip-rap on the shore of Lake Koshkonong in the SE4 <br /> NE4 of 'S'ection 25, Town of Albion. <br /> IN FAVOR: Rev. Father Robert W. Halter of St. Joseph's College; <br /> our thoreline has been severely eroded over the past few years, 20' and <br /> more in some areas. A major concern is saving the trees along the shore <br /> pilings will be required in some places. We have been in contact with <br /> DNR and work will be done to their specs. The rip-rap will be 5' <br /> back from the high water line, on a t5° slope and placed 186 deep. <br /> The work will be done in stages with approximately 200' to be done <br /> this fall. <br /> #392. Appeal by M. A. Randall for a Special Exception Permit and a <br /> variance from shoreline setback and flood plain requirements as pro- <br /> vided by Jection 10.16 (7) (d) and 10.33 (c) (2) of the Dane County <br /> tor Zoning Ordinance. Variance and exception are necessary to permit <br /> repair and improve a residence located in part of the NE4 NW 4 of Section <br /> 17, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: M. Randall; propose to re-side and repair roof of existing <br /> cottage. Had contacted town clerk who had said no permits were require. <br /> for this type of work. Discussion non-conforming of all cottages in <br /> this parcel and the awareness of the owners at the time of the trans- <br /> action. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: Mr. Enger presented his statement <br /> in opposition. <br /> TOWN BOARD: Letter received in opposition. <br /> #393. Appeal by the Farmers Union Central Exchange, Inc. (Cenex) for <br /> a variance from rear yard and road setback requirements as provided by <br /> Section 10.14 (7) and 10.17 (3) of the Dane County Ordinance. Variances. <br /> are necessary to permit construction of a building to be located on a <br /> parcel of land in the jg N0,4 of Section 25, Town of Deerfield. <br /> IN FAVOR: Fred Hjort, District Marketing .,lipervisor representing Cenex; <br /> proposal is to build a fertilizer blending plant which will serve four <br /> areas of prime concern is the railroad access. Utilizing the proposed <br /> property, two variances would be required for the building, we are <br /> requesting : <br /> 1. A 2.5' setback from front line requiring a variance of 27.5' . <br /> 2. A .5' rear yard requiring a variance of 9.5' . <br /> NOTE: The 2.5' setback from front line is a change from the 8.5' <br /> fityrequested on plan submitted with the application. <br />
