(2) <br /> MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> MEEf'ING OF AUGUST 16, 1971 <br /> #299. Appeal by LeRoy Waelti for a variance from setback requirements as <br /> provided by Section 10.17 (2) of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Vani- <br /> ance is necessary to permit repair and remodeling of a non-conforming <br /> residence. LOCATION: Part of the NA NE.4 of Section 7, Township of Cott- <br /> age Grove. <br /> IN FAVOR: LeRoy Waelti, has option to buy property but bank wants to he <br /> certain residence can be repaired before granting a loan. Repairs will be I <br /> internal except for new siding. No exterior additions will be made. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None. OPPOSED: None. TOWN BOARD: Irving Smith,Supe-r-- <br /> visor, no objection, would improve area. <br /> OMAUNICATIONS: Letter from Dane County Highway. No objection. <br /> #300. Appeal by Dayton & Virginia Nell for a variance from setback require- <br /> ments as provided by Section 10.16 (7) (c) of the Dane County Zoning Ordin- <br /> ance. Variance is necessary to permit installation of plumbing and a bath- <br /> room. LOCATION: Part of Gov. Lot # 2, Section2l, Township of Mazomanie. <br /> IN FAVOR: Dayton & Virginia Nell, residence was non-conforming when <br /> purchased one year ago, purpose of variance is to allow for inside renod- <br /> eling to provide inside plumbing and bathroom. There will be no exter- <br /> ior additions. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None. OPPOSED: None. TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> #301. Appeal by Joseph G. Klein for a Special Exception Permit to place <br /> fill on a parcel of land which is located in a shoreland area as provided <br /> by Section 10.16 (7) (g) of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. LOCATION: <br /> Part of Gov. Lot # 1, Section 29, Township of Pleasant Springs. <br /> IN FAVOR: Mr. & Mrs. Joseph G. Klein, purpose of fill is to provide a <br /> fr buildable lot. Only clean fill will be used, no rocks, concrete chunks, <br /> etc. permitted. The lot to the an was filled some time ago to the proposed, <br /> level and the lot to the NE, along adjoining line, is approximately at the1 <br /> proposed level. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None. OPPOSED: None. TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> #302. Appeal by Dean D. Guenther for a Special Exception Permit to place <br /> fill in a flood plain area as provided by Section 10.35 (c) of the Dane <br /> County Zoning Ordinance and a variance from setback requirements as pro- <br /> vided by Section 10.17 (3) of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Permit <br /> & variance are necessary to construct a residence. LOCATION: Part of Out-i <br /> lot "B". Plat of Waucheeta, Section 5, Township of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVDR: Paul A. Croak, Atty., and Dean D. Guenther. Mr. Guenther has <br /> an option to purchase the lot in question and intends to build a 2 story <br /> residence. The area to be filled will be filled to an elevation of 850.4T, <br /> approximately 4.25-4.75 feet deep. Side lot lines will have timber <br /> walls and road and lake shore sides will have a gradual slope and will be <br /> seeded or sodded. The setback variance is required because of the Shore- <br /> land Ordinance which requires a minimum of 50' distance from the high <br /> water line. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: David Joranson, owner of lot; presented survey map <br /> showing flood plain. OPPOSED. None. Ann Milne, who has option to pur- <br /> ,chase Joranson residence requested information as to how the fill might <br /> affect her. Chairman called Mr. Kleeman, owner of the lot to the North of <br /> the proposed fill_area. Mr. Kleeman stated that he had no real objection, <br /> had raised his cottage about 2=z-3 feet and was. considering filling his lot. <br /> ii <br /> 1 <br />
