Carter OPPOSED: None COMMUNICATION: Letter; Town <br /> Board and Plan Commission, no objection. <br /> #1040. Appeal by Robert F. Lowry for a Special Exception Permit as <br /> provided by Section 11.05 (g) to fill and grade within 300 feet of Lake <br /> Koshkonong to improve property at 360 and 362 Lake Shore Drive, Lots <br /> j 12, 13 and 14 - Block #1, Edgerton Beach Park, Section 25, Town of <br /> Albion. <br /> IN FAVOR: R. Lowry OPPOSED: None COMMUNICATION: None <br /> #1041. Cheney, P.E. , representing Karem, Inc. OPPOSED: None <br /> COMMUNICATION: None <br /> The public hearing was closed. <br /> CY #1034. Motion by Purcell, second by Schwahn to grant the Special Excep- <br /> tion Permit as proposed with the following conditions: <br /> 1. All spoils shall be spread and leveled. <br /> 2. Banks of new ditches and existing ditch banks which have been dis- <br /> j turbed by the dredging shall be seeded with fast growing grasses <br /> and mulched to prevent siltation or erosion. <br /> 3. The filled and/or graded and disturbed areas shall be sodded or <br /> seeded with fast growing grasses and mulched to prevent silta- <br /> tion or erosion. <br /> 4. The applicant shall request inspection by the Dane County Zoning <br /> Department upon completion of the project. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. The project was designed to correct siltation of a pond dug by <br /> 1 <br /> previous owners. The siltation was causing a muck problem <br /> with the result that the pond was becoming offensive. The <br /> project was also designed to improve wildlife and stream habi- <br /> tat. <br /> 1 CONCLUSION: <br /> i1.
