Motion by Purcell, second by Schwahn to grant the Special Excep- <br /> tion Permit as proposed with the following conditions: <br /> 1. All spoils shall be spread and leveled. <br /> 2. Banks of new ditches and existing ditch banks which have been dis- <br /> j turbed by the dredging shall be seeded with fast growing grasses <br /> and mulched to prevent siltation or erosion. <br /> 3. The filled and/or graded and disturbed areas shall be sodded or <br /> seeded with fast growing grasses and mulched to prevent silta- <br /> tion or erosion. <br /> 4. The applicant shall request inspection by the Dane County Zoning <br /> Department upon completion of the project. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. The project was designed to correct siltation of a pond dug by <br /> 1 <br /> previous owners. The siltation was causing a muck problem <br /> with the result that the pond was becoming offensive. The <br /> project was also designed to improve wildlife and stream habi- <br /> tat. <br /> 1 CONCLUSION: <br /> i1. The project as planned, with specified conditions; will not <br /> result in substantial detriment to navigable waters by ero- <br /> sion, sedimentation, impairment of fish or aquatic life, <br /> or safe and healthful conditions. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> !IL) . <br /> 4 <br /> I <br /> 1 <br /> I <br />
