I fARI) OF 1I0iI;YI'MI•:N'I'
May 28, 1981 - Minutes
Page 5
CO) ,
#991. Motion by Purcell, second by Voges to grant a 21 foot variance
from required setback from S.T.H. 19, with the condition that:
The silo shall be removed at the owners expense if future road improvemeng
requires additional right-of-way.
FINDING OF FACT:
1. Proposed location is necessary to accomodate feed-thru to existing
silo and feed bunk.
2. Silo could not be built in correlation to existing feed bunk and
barn without the variance.
3. Silo will be farther back from road than the existing shed.
CONCLUSION:
1. Proven case of unnecessary hardship.
2. Variance is not contrary to -rights of others or to the public
interest.
Motion carried.
#992. Motion by Schwahn , second by Purcell to grant the Special Exceptior
Permit as per the plan submitted with the following conditions:
] . The filled and/or graded and disturbed areas shall be sodded or
seeded with fast growing grasses and mulched to prevent siltation or
- erosion.
FINDING OF FACT:
The property elevation is lower than both adjacent lots. This causes a
water problem which must be corrected before the property can be utilized
for residential purposes. -
CONCLUSION:
1 . The project as planned , with specified conditions; will not result
in substantial detriment to navigable waters by erosion , sedimen-
tation, impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and healthful
conditions.
Motion carried.
# 393. Motion by Kruschke, second by Purcell to grant a variance of 4
feet '1 inches from required left side ydrd.
FINDTNG OF FACT:
1. 8 inch sewer line along left side of building prevents silos from
being any closer to the building.
2. Duraform Company has an air-strip on the Fast side of Clack property
and location of silos in this area could cause air turbulence pro-
blems.
3. Silo location was necessary to coincide with existing plant storage
and warehouse.
