COMMUNICATION: None <br /> #862. Appeal by The Westport Landing Company for a variance from Section <br /> 10. 16 (7) (h) - Dane County Zoning Ordinance which prohibits construction <br /> of lagoons, connected to a navigable body of water, for the purpose of <br /> private development. Said lagoons for proposed in part of the SE 1/4 <br /> SW 1/4 & SW 1/4 SE 1/4 of Section 22, and the NW 1/4 NE 1/4 - Section <br /> 27, Town of Westport. <br /> IN FAVOR: Michael Rosen; Richard Munz OPPOSED: Frank Ross, Jr. <br /> representing Dr. Jackson and himself; Phyllis Berg Pigorszh, presented <br /> petition in opposition; Thomas Webb, representing friends of the North <br /> Shore of Mendota; H. L. Starkweather, representing Dane County Conser- <br /> vation League; June Witt; Francis Hurst, representing Audubon Society; <br /> Keith Ackely, representing Conservation Congress and Yahara Fishermen's <br /> Club; Jim Harris. TOWN BOARD: R. Shepard, Supervisor, need time for <br /> more study, Town Planning Commission has suggested that action be held <br /> in abeyance. <br /> Phyllis Schwahn, Board of Adjustment member and Westport Plan Commission <br /> member clarified the Plan Commission. Suggested abeyance as not being <br /> pertinent to this appeal. The Plan Commission would like more plan <br /> information etc. Before they make a recommendation on development <br /> of the area. The Plan Commission did not consider the variance appeal. <br /> COMMUNICATION: Letter from Department of Natural Resources, opposed. <br /> REBUTTAL: M. Rosen; B. VandeWalle. <br /> #863. Appeal by Dr. Stanley R. Jasen for a variance from required <br /> setback from normal high water line as provided by Section 10. 16 (7) <br /> (d) - Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit <br /> construction of an addition to a residence at 1962 Quam Point Drive, <br /> Section 25, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: Dr. Jason OPPOSED: None COMMUNICATION: Telephone call <br /> from Clerk, Town of Dunn; Town Board in favor; letter to follow. <br /> #864. Appeal by John Lorimer for variance from required side yard as <br /> provided by Section 10. 16 (5) (a) 2. - Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Variance is necessary to permit construction of a new residence at <br /> 4266 Jordon Drive - Lot #1 Block #1 - Brickson Park, Section 17, Town <br /> of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: J.
