Quackenbush/Jones to grant permit with conditions to permit fill and <br /> grade for creating drainage pattern after construction of new residence. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. That plans and specifications be prepared by a licensed engineer within <br /> the scope of the application, and filed with the Zoning Department before <br /> commencement of any work. <br /> 2. That all work be performed in compliance with approved engineering <br /> standards and all applicable governmental rules and rgulations <br /> particularly Section 11.05(4) of Dane County Ordinances. <br /> 3. That there be filed with the Zoning Department a certificate of compliance <br /> by a licensed engineer at the completion of the project. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. Site was utilized as former borrow pit site for needed materials. <br /> 2. Work will alleviate ponding of water. <br /> 3. Topsoil added and seeded or sodded. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1. The project as planned, with specified conditions, will not result in <br /> substantial detriment to navigable waters by erosion, sedimentation, <br /> impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and healthful conditions. <br /> Carried 4-0. <br /> #1770. Jones/Rendall to grant with conditions variance of 10.7 feet plus or <br /> minus from required right-of-way setback to CTH "K" to permit cooler and <br /> loading dock addition to existing commercial building. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. The addition shall be removed at the owners expense if future road <br /> improvement requires additional right-of-way. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. County Highway recommends approval with conditions. <br /> 2. Location affords minimal intrusion of loading/off loading vehicles into <br /> right-of-way. <br /> 3. Driveways and internal traffic patterns. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1. Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without <br /> injustice to applicant. <br /> 2. Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> Carried 4-0. <br /> #1771. Quackenbush/Rendall to grant variance of 264 square feet plus or minus <br /> from maximum allowable square feet of accessory buildings to permit <br /> construction of 12' X 20 foot boathouse. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. Structure replaces previous boathouse that crumbled while under repair. <br /> 2. Residence is extremely small with no basement. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1. Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without <br /> injustice to applicant. <br /> 2. Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> Carried 4-0. <br />
