Appeal by Rick North for a variance from required lot area as provided <br /> by Section 10.07 (4) (b) to permit creation of 2 substandard lots on part of <br /> Lot #6, Hammersley Heights in the SE 1/4 NE 1/4 - Section 35, Town of Madison. <br /> IN FAVOR: R. North OPPOSED: B. Mann, T. Solberg, Chairman Town of Madison <br /> COMMUNICATION: Town Board. <br /> #1494. Appeal by Arlan Kay & Associates, agent for Daniel Rottier for a <br /> variance from required setback from road as provided by Section 10.17 (4) to <br /> permit additions to existing residence at 2605 Covall Street in the S 1/2 SW <br /> 1/4 - Section 27, Town of Madison. <br /> IN FAVOR: A. Durand OPPOSED: None COMMUNICATION: Town Board. <br /> Public hearing was closed and board rendered the following decisions: <br /> #1486. Pieper/Windsor Congregational Church - Windsor. <br /> Miller/Jones to approve variance of 7 feet more or less from required setback <br /> from Windsor Street to allow entry addition to existing church. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Addition will extend no closer to right-of-way than existing structure. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> CAW 1) . Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without <br /> injustice to applicant. <br /> 2) . Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> Motion carried - 5-0. <br /> #1487. Beil - Montrose. <br /> Kruschke/Quackenbush to approve with conditions permit for filling and grading <br /> within 300 feet of Sugar River, as completed to allow proper drainage away <br /> from newly constructed residence. Also, to deny permit to allow construction <br /> of a pond. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1) . Permit granted for lot contouring (no pond) as per plans submitted. <br /> 2) . The filled and/or graded and disturbed areas shall be sodded or seeded <br /> with fast growing grasses and mulched to prevent siltation or erosion. <br /> 3) . The applicant shall request inspection by the Dane County Zoning <br /> Department upon completion of the project. <br /> CONCLUSIONS: <br /> 1) . Dredging and clean-out of ditches is necessary to provide proper drainage <br /> of existing field. <br /> 2). The project as planned with specified conditions; will not result in <br /> substantial detriment to navigable waters by erosion, sedimentation, <br /> impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and healthful conditions. <br /> Iwo- coca- s - a <br /> #1488. Dahl - Roxbury. <br /> Miller/Jones to approve permit with conditions to fill and grade, within 300 <br /> feet of Fish Lake, to repair and stabilize shoreline. <br />
