B.O.A./Minutes/9/25/86
Page 3
CONDITIONS:
1) . Permit granted as per plans submitted.
2) . The filled and/or graded and disturbed areas shall be sodded or seeded
with fast growing grasses and mulched to prevent siltation or erosion.
3) . The applicant shall request inspection by the Dane County Zoning
Department upon completion of the project.
CONCLUSION:
1) . The project as planned will not result in substantial detriment to
navigable waters by erosion, sedimentation, impairment of fish or aquatic
life, or safe and healthful conditions.
2) . The project as planned with specified conditions will preserve the
natural shoreline.
Motion carried - 5-0.
#1489. Callaway - Dunn.
Jones/Kruschke to approve permit with conditions to fill and grade within 300
feet of Lake Kegonsa to permit shoreline stabilization.
CONDITIONS:
1) . Permit granted as per plans submitted.
2) . The filled and/or graded and disturbed areas shall be sodded or seeded
with fast growing grasses and mulched to prevent siltation or erosion.
3) . The applicant shall request inspection by the Dane County Department upon
completion of the project.
CONCLUSION:
1) . The project as planned with specified conditions will preserve the
natural shoreline.
Motion carried - 5-0.
#1490. Roth - Montrose.
Miller/Kruschke to deny variance from required setbacks from road and normal
high waterline to allow construction of horse barn.
FINDING OF FACT:
1) . Paddock run-off will end up in pond and creek.
2) . Other locations are available, for proposed structure, which would not
require variance.
CONCLUSION:
1) . Unnecessary hardship was not proven.
Motion carried - 5-0.
#1491. Miller - Verona.
Kruschke/Miller to approve variance of 5 feet more or less from required
setback from road. Also, variance of 0.15 feet more or less from height of
accessory buildings to allow storage building as constructed.
CONDITIONS:
The structure shall be removed at owners expense if future road improvement
requires additional right-of-way.
FINDING OF FACT:
1) . Structure backs-up to a rock hillside with severe slope.
2) . Lot has limited buildable areas due to slope.
