Appeal by John Holtan for a variance from required sideyard and <br /> maximum square footage of accessory buildings as provided by Sections 10.07(7) <br /> and 10.04(1 ) to permit addition to residence and accessory building on vacant <br /> lot at 3254 Brooklyn Drive in the SW 1/4 SE 1/4 - being Lot #6 plus added <br /> lands - Section 25, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: J. Holtan, S. Holtan, L. Gander OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: <br /> Town Board <br /> Harvey/Quackenbush to grant variance of 6 feet 5 inches from required right <br /> sideyard to permit foundation under existing residence also Harvey/Quackenbush <br /> to grant variance off 440 square feet from maximum allowable square footage of <br /> accessory buildings to permit garage construction on vacant lot. <br /> Motion carried - 3-0. <br /> FINDING OF FACT:. <br /> 1 ). Excavation is within limits of existing residence and below grade. <br /> 2) . Excavated materials not placed within shoreland area. <br /> 3). Garage is replacement of original structure moved onto property under <br /> earlier variance (Variance #423 - February '76). <br /> 4) . :Similar structures with variances granted in area. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1 ). Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without` <br /> injustice to applicant. <br /> 2). Variance is necessary to provide right enjoyed by others . <br /> Motion carried - 3-0. <br /> #2005 . Appeal by Attorney Ann Fleischli , agent for Sandra Jahns for a <br /> variance from required sideyard as provided by Section 10.07(7) to permit <br /> deck/entry to existing residence at 2823 Crescent Drive in the SE 1 /4 NW 1/4 - <br /> being Lot #9, Crescent Park - Section 9, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: M. Cassidy, S. Jahns OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town Board <br /> Harvey/Quackenbush to grant variance of 7.5 feet more or less from required <br /> left sideyard to permit entry/deck as constructed. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1 ). Structure constructed by previous owner without permit. <br /> 2). Previous owner created new entry to existing residence and deck needed to <br /> access. <br /> 3). Numerous encroachments in area. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1 ). Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> 2). Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without <br /> injustice to applicant. <br /> Motion carried - 3-0. <br /> #2006. Appeal by Doral Richardson for a variance from required setback from <br /> 4se road as provided by Section 10.17(2) to permit deck/porch addition to existing <br /> residence at 3314 CTH JG (North ) - in the NW 1 /4 SW 1/4 - Section 35, Town of <br /> Vermont. <br /> IN FAVOR: D. Richardson OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town Board <br /> Harvey/Quackenbush to grant, with conditions, variance of 18 more or less feet <br /> from required centerline setback to CTH JG to permit deck addition to existing <br /> residence . <br />
