Permit valid for 6 months from issuance. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Project is for highway reconstruction by township under supervision of <br /> Town and Country Engineers. <br /> 2) . Road elevation is above flood plain and wetlands as exists. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1) . The project as planned, with specified conditions; will not result in <br /> substantial detriment to navigable waters by erosion, sedimentation, <br /> impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and healthful conditions. <br /> Motion carried - 5-0. <br /> #1986. Appeal by William & Cindy Weinman for a variance from required setback <br /> from road as provided by Section 10.17 (5) to permit addition to existing <br /> residence at 2852 Hilton Lane being Lot #13, Block #1, Hilton Estates - <br /> Section 29, Town of Bristol. <br /> IN FAVOR: W. Weinman OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Environmental Health <br /> Quackenbush/Harvey to grant variance of 6 more or less feet from required <br /> setback to right-of-way Hilton Lane to permit entry and walkway/deck to to <br /> existing residence. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Covered entry is intended to protect from winter and elements. <br /> 2) . Applicant is replacing structure built by previous owner. <br /> 3) . Structure limits: 8 x 8 entry and 12 x 3 walkway. <br /> CONCLUSIONS: <br /> 1) . Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without <br /> injustice to applicant. <br /> 2) . Variance is contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> Motion carried - 5-0. <br /> #1969. Quackenbush/Jones to sustain the Zoning Administrator 's Interpretation <br /> regarding the status of nonconforming mi'heral extraction registration for <br /> property located in the SE 1/4 NW 1/4 & NE 1/4 SW 1/4 of Section 9, Town of <br /> Verona. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . The "Marty Pit" (SE 1/4 NW 1/4 - Section 9, Town of Verona) was stripped, <br /> opened, sand and gravel removed and stockpiled beginning 7/29/67 by Wingra <br /> Stone. <br /> 2) . 42,975 Tons of mineral were extracted in 1968 by Rein Schultz and Dahl. <br /> 3) . Rein, Schultz and Dahl purchased the "Marty Pit" (SE 1/4 NW 1/4) and <br /> contiguous NE 1/4 SW 1/4 - Section 9, Town of Verona on 11/6/67 and that all <br /> times material in both 1/4 1/4's have been in same ownership. <br /> 4) . The NE 1/4 SW 1/4 has not been and is not now opened for mineral <br /> extraction. <br /> 5) . On 10/23/68 Wingra Stone registered the "Marty Pit" as Section 9, Town of <br /> Verona, with Dane County Zoning. <br /> c 6) . On 4/15/69 Rein Schultz & Dahl registered the "Marty Pit" as the SE 1/4 <br /> NW 1/4 and NE 1/4 SW 1/4 - Section 9, Town of Verona, with the Dane County <br /> Zoning Department. <br />
