Robar - Dunn. <br /> Quackenbush/Harvey to grant, with conditions, variance of 18 more or less feet <br /> from required setback to normal high watermark of LaW1Kegonsa to permit deck <br /> replacement to existing residence. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1) . Deck will extend no closer to normal high watermark than did previous <br /> deck which was in need of repair. <br /> 2) . Utmost care taken to maintain safety of tree intended to be incorporated <br /> into deck design. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Deck will extend 20 feet from residence same as former deck removed due <br /> to rotting. <br /> 2) . Shoreland juts sharply inward at applicant's lot. <br /> 3) . Deck will not become screened porch without additional variance. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1) . Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without <br /> injustice to applicant. <br /> fir' 2) . Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> Motion carried - 4-0. <br />
