BOA MINUTES 11/20/97 <br /> Page 4 <br /> ikow 2) . That plan revision includes berm to prevent parking lot <br /> run-off from reaching the lake and increase the size and <br /> slope of swale leading to proposed detention pond. <br /> 3) . That plans and specifications be prepared by a licensed <br /> engineer within the scope of the application, and filed with <br /> the Zoning Department before commencement of any work. <br /> 4) . That all work be performed in compliance with approved <br /> engineering standards and all applicable governmental rules <br /> and regulations particularly Section 11 . 05 (4) of Dane County <br /> Code of Ordinances . <br /> 5) . That there be filed with the Zoning Department a <br /> Certificate of compliance by a licensed engineer at the <br /> completion of the project. <br /> 6) . Subject to all other necessary governmental agency <br /> approvals . <br /> 7) . Inspection and approval by Zoning Department upon <br /> completion of project. <br /> 8) . At the discretion of the Board of Adjustment, <br /> inspection and approval by the Zoning Department during <br /> and/or upon completion may be required. <br /> 9) . Permit valid April 15, 1998 with completion and <br /> certification deadline of May 30, 1998 . <br /> Finding of Fact: <br /> 1) . Applicant proposes to expand existing restaurant and <br /> necessary parking. <br /> 2) . Paved parking lot will accommodate 23 vehicles as <br /> amended, still above the number required by County <br /> Ordinance. <br /> 3) . Amended plan would allow pavement to be 10 foot from <br /> Lake Mendota while no vehicle parking within 29 feet of <br /> normal high watermark. <br /> 4) . Existing boathouse will be removed and in tis place <br /> detention pond will be constructed. <br /> 5) . Staff and Land Conservation Office will review amended <br /> plan submittal . <br /> 6) . Engineering provided by Ron Klaas, Professional <br /> Engineer. <br /> Conclusion: <br /> 1) . 1) . The project as planned, with specified conditions; <br /> will not result in substantial detriment to navigable waters <br /> by erosion, sedimentation, impairment of fish or aquatic <br /> life, or safe and healthful conditions . Motion carried - <br /> 4-1 . (Klopp, no) . <br /> #2892 . Appeal by Darrell Holcomb for a variance from <br /> required lot width and area as provided by Sections 11 . 03 (1) <br /> and 10. 05 (4) to permit transfer of lands by Certified Survey <br /> Map at 118 Maple Street being Lots 12, 13 and part Lot #11, <br /> Block 9, Edgerton Beach Park - Section 25, Town of Albion. <br />
