BOA MINUTES/7/25/91 <br /> Page 3 <br /> #2148 Appeal by John Raab for a variance from required lot width and lot area <br /> as provided by Section 10.06(4) to permit creation of substandard Lot by <br /> Certified Survey Map located West of 4611 Meadowlark Drive in the SE1/4 NE1/4, <br /> Section 6, Town of Windsor. <br /> IN FAVOR: J. Raab OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: --- <br /> Arts/Clark-Gaskill to grant, with conditions, variance of 9,683 feet and <br /> variance of 30 more or less feet from required lot width to permit creation of <br /> substandard lot. <br /> • <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1). Lot is to be utilized for township well and accessory structures only. <br /> 2). Township and sanitary district submit verification of approvals. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1). Property at time application was made did not have public sewer available <br /> however that may change. <br /> 2). Applicant indicated at public hearing that proposed lot was to be <br /> included in sanitary district removing need for variance. <br /> 3). Existing well in the area has been condemned due to contaminants and this <br /> site will replace it. <br /> 4). Lot will be created by certified survey. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1). Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> 2). Hardship is caused by the ordinance and is not self-imposed. <br /> Motion carried - 3-0. <br /> #2149 Appeal by Paul Underwood and Jo Ann Haag for a variance from required <br /> setback from road as provided by Section 10.17(3) to permit addition to <br /> existing residence at 1736 Barber Road in the NE1/4 SW1/4, Section 31, Town of <br /> Blue Mounds. <br /> IN FAVOR: P. Underwood OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Environmental Health <br /> Department. <br /> Clark-Gaskill/Arts to grant, with condition, variance of 38 feet from required <br /> setback to centerline of unnamed town road to permit addition to existing <br /> single family residence. <br /> CONDITION: <br /> 1). Variance subject to property receiving approval of pending rezone <br /> application #5102 to allow residential use by applicant. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1). Existing residence is extremely small and in need of repair. <br /> 2). Proposed addition will encroach 2 feet nearer to centerline to <br /> precipitate foundation to stabilize existing residence. <br /> 3). Unlikely road will ever become thoroughfare as road dead-ends at steep <br /> drop-off. <br /> 4). Existing barn on opposite side of road is already nearer the road than <br /> proposed addition. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1). Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> 2). Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without <br /> injustice to applicant. <br /> Motion carried - 3-0. <br /> - #2150 Appeal by Jeff and Victoria Draugsvold for a variance from required <br /> rrrr' setback from normal high water mark as provided by Section 11.03(2) to permit <br /> garage addition to existing residence at 4668 South Road in the NE1/4 NW1/4, <br /> Section 18, Town of Windsor. <br />
