The project as planned, with specified conditions; will not <br /> result in substantial detriment to navigable waters by erosion, <br /> sedimentation, impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and <br /> healthful conditions . Motion carried - 5-0. <br /> #2466 Appeal by Kurt Grote and Fern Hirsch, agents for George <br /> and Ruth Wattonville for a variance from required setback <br /> from road as provided by Section 10 . 17 (2) to permit <br /> garage addition to existing residence at 2412 CTH AB <br /> being Lot 18 and Part of Lot 19 , Pike Front, Section 14 , <br /> Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: K. Grote OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town <br /> Board, Dane County Highway <br /> Dreps/Lynch to grant, with condition, variance of 21. 9 feet to <br /> required setback to CTH AB centerline to permit residence garage <br /> addition as proposed. <br /> CONDITION: <br /> The garage addition shall be removed at the owner ' s expense if <br /> future road improvement requires additional right-of-way. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Applicant has lot of less than 60 feet in width. <br /> 2) . Location of existing residence and sewer easements limit <br /> buildable area. <br /> 3) . Incorporated into garage addition is access to proposed 2nd <br /> story addition to existing residence. <br /> 4) . Applicant has work vehicle and recreational equipment in need <br /> of covered storage. <br /> 5) . County Highway Department does not object provided condition <br /> stating "removal at owner ' s expense if additional right-of-ways are <br /> needed. <br /> 6) . Property is in an area of numerous nonconforming structures <br /> with numerous variances granted. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1) . Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public <br /> interest. <br /> 2) . Variance is necessary to provide right enjoyed by others. <br /> Motion carried - 5-0 . <br />
