Appeal by Ramona Otteman for a variance from required setback from normal <br /> tif high watermark and sideyard as provided by Sections 10.07(7) and 11.03(2) to permit <br /> alteration/addition of existing residence at 2825 Crescent Drive being Lots 8 and 9, <br /> Crescent Park- Section 9, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: J. Ekstrom, D. Endres, R. Otteman OPPOSED: — <br /> COMMUNICATIONS: Town Board <br /> Long/Sayles to approve, an amended, variance of 6 feet from required left sideyard <br /> which will continue existing building line from garage towards the lake. Also,to approve <br /> a variance,with condition, of 3.06 feet from required setback to normal high watermark <br /> to permit addition to existing residence. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1). Setback from normal high water variance is for foundation only, existing front wall to <br /> remain. <br /> Finding of fact: <br /> 1). Addition to replace a portion of structure in need of repair due to ice damage and rot. <br /> 2). Proposal is for a 24' x 34' 1 story addition with basement. <br /> 3). Balance of residence built in 1980 under variance#913, August 1980. <br /> 4). Addition is to be 2 bedrooms,porch and basement. <br /> 5). Original structure built around World War I. <br /> Conclusion: <br /> 1). Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without injustice to <br /> applicant. <br /> 2). Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> Motion carried—4-1 (Long—no). <br /> APPEALS FROM PREVIOUS HEARINGS: <br /> #3129. Watzke <br /> Kay/Klopp to grant variance of 3 feet from required left sideyard to permit addition to <br /> existing residence, as amended and shown on applicants revised plan dated 6/13/01. <br /> Finding of fact: <br /> 1). Applicant proposes "in fill"between residence and garage. <br /> 2). Proposed addition includes 2 bedrooms, rec room and bathroom. <br /> 3). Proposed addition,when attached to garage, will render original garage <br /> nonconforming. <br /> 4).
