4-10-91 Telephoned Carol Voss to get the names of the new Town Board members . Within the next two days tried telephoning the new Board members explaining our request and telling them that they would receive a letter of explanation, and an outline of the events that have taken place during our pursuit of a Conditional Use Permit . 4-11-91 Larry Larson telephoned Norb Scribner of Dane County Zoning to confirm if the steps we have taken thus far have been correct, and if there was any thing else we could do. Mr . Scribner confirmed most of the information we already have and advised that the the next step would be to meet with the new Town Board members . 4-11-91 Telephoned Jeff Kerns, the new Clerk for the Town of Middleton to confirm that we were on the April 22, 1991 agenda. Mr. Kerns said he would be sure we would be on the agenda. 4-22-91 Mr . Welton telephoned early in the morning on the 22nd of April to see if we could get together and discuss our conditional use permit. Since we contacted Mr . Welton approximately three weeks earlier and the Town Board meeting was that evening, we decided we would try and meet just prior to the meeting with the Town Board that evening. Mr. Welton did explain that the reason he could not contact us earlier was because of his vacation, car problems, and a family illness, although we had contacted him by phone in Florida three weeks earlier . 4-22-91 Attended the Middleton Town Board meeting. Mr . Welton said that he would like to try and get together with us and discuss the conditional use permit request and at that time he could not agree to the request . As to date, no others have voiced any opinion against our request. The Town Board suggested that we and Mr. Welton meet and try to discuss and work out our differences, not knowing at that time what our differences were .
