If the proposed operation will be active for a long <br /> timeframe, a dense vegetative screen should be employed to block views <br /> of the site from the surrounding road network -- particularly US 151 and <br /> County Highway VV. Such a visual buffer would also serve to reduce the <br /> spread of dust associated with extraction and processing operations by <br /> blocking prevailing winds from the northwest and west.
