•
DECEMBER 16, 1985
QUESTIONS FOR TOWN BOARD MEMBERS AS PETITIONERS
IN DANE COUNTY ZONING PETITION 3550
1. What is Board's conception of final form of site in question?
Has Board answered the Dane Co. Zoning Committee's request for details of
your intended use for this parcel?
2. For how long has the Town Board intended to recycle, burn and garbage transfer
at the Natvie Road site?
Before the Town purchased the Natvig Road site, was there a recycling plan?
If so, where would this plan have taken place?
3. How much money was spent on the Jargo Road Site?
For what purpose?
landfill?
recycling?
burning?
4. The longest possible time that the Town can burn at the Natvig Rd. site is
Sept. of 1986. Does the Board intend to burn at another site after the Natvig
site is closed?
5. Was the Board aware that the Natvig Rd. site does not comply with the Town
fencing ordinance for hazardous areas? Does the Board intend to comply with
this ordinance? Would the fencing cost be justified for the brief future use
at this site?
6. Has the Town Board been aware of illegal burning at the Natvig Rd. site?
That is: a. failure to bury ash a minimum of 200 ft. from the burn site
b. combustion of unlawful materials
c. failure to attend fire at all times
d. failure to burn only on days where smoke is not a nuisance
