Madison Wild Waters <br /> DESCRIPTION OF WATER PARK COMPONENTS <br /> THREE FLUME WATER SLIDES-The water slides selected for the park are constructed <br /> of durable fiberglass measuring 6 feet across and over 400 feet long for each <br /> flume. The construction of the water slide area will be on a man made hill <br /> approximately 30 feet high with the slide starting from a timber supported <br /> platform at the 40 foot level. Each flume has a rider capacity of over 7,000 <br /> per day of operation. <br /> KIDS WATER FUN POOL-This combination kids pool and play area is unique in <br /> that it offers water related toys, slides, sea horses, squirt guns, rope <br /> swings and the biggest sand box in town filled with clean silica sand. <br /> This pool has a maximum depth of 12 inches and is shaped to blend into the <br /> surroundings. <br /> CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF-The miniature golf course will have 18 totally dif- <br /> ferent shaped greens to challenge all ages and abilities. The course will be <br /> interwoven with water falls and an abundance of landscaping that will <br /> cover over 60% of the 12,000 to 15,000 SQ. FT. area. <br /> SKEETER AND BUMPER BOATS-The pond for these small outboard motor powered <br /> craft will be blended into the landscaping by digging a lagoon approximately <br /> 1% acres in size and lining it with heavy duty plastic covered by sand and <br /> gravel. The two different types of boats can be operated in separate parts <br /> of the pond which is only a maximum of 3' deep. <br /> RAMPAGE SLIDE-The Rampage Slide is the closest experience to tobogganing in <br /> the Winter that you can get without the snow and cold. The slide starts from <br /> the top of a 35' high tower, the rider then sits on a Surf-boggan and descends <br /> a 60' Teflon coated ramp to skip across a 120' long pool. The ride is <br /> supervised by lifeguard qualified personnel eventhough the water is only <br /> 32 inches deep. <br />
