Application for Conditional Use Permit for Outdoor Entertainment <br /> C. R. C. Speedways, Inc., a Wisconsin corporation with its principal business <br /> office located at 5116 West Lincoln Avenue, West Allis, Wiscosnin 53219, hereby <br /> requests a conditional use permit for outdoor entertainment from Dane County. <br /> This request is made for the purpose of holding special events, namely outdoor <br /> entertainment, offering live music on the premises commonly known as the Capital <br /> Super Speedway, in the Township of Rutland, County of Dane, Wisconsin. It <br /> is requested that the conditional use permit for outdoor entertainment authorize <br /> C. R. C. Speedways, Inc. to hold live music concerts either in conjunction with <br /> automobile racing (current use of the grounds) or as a separate musical special <br /> event. The music events would be an outdoor concert type with current and <br /> future race track seating on the grounds being used as viewing areas for the <br /> patrons. It is currently projected that the stage for the musical events would <br /> be located on the infield of the present race track. It is presently intended to <br /> offer musical concerts which would appeal to entire families as well as individuals. <br /> If the conditional use permit is granted, there are plans to hold a country and <br /> western concert in the summer of 1984. Without limitation, bluegrass music is <br /> another example of the type of music to be offered at concerts to be held. <br /> Currently, the projections of C. R. C. Speedways, Inc. call for the expansion <br /> of sanitation facilities to adequately meet the needs of track and concert patrons. <br /> C. R. C. Speedways, Inc. will provide adequate security at all musical events. <br /> In addition, C. R. C. Speedways, Inc. will cooperate with all local and county <br /> law enforcement agencies in order to insure the peaceable enjoyment at all <br /> musical events by all patrons. <br /> Submitted with this application for an outdoor entertainment conditional use <br /> permit is a drawing of the site, including current and projected improvements. <br /> This application is respectfully submitted on the Fifth day of March, 1984. <br /> Robert Zidar <br /> Presider' ,C.
