1 • <br /> f . <br /> TOWN OF BURKE BOARD MEETING MINUTES SEPTEMBER 1 , 1987 <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT : Donald Hoepker , Marvin McCoy, William Graff <br /> OTHERS PRESENT : See attached sheet . <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hoepker at 7 : 30 <br /> PM. <br /> Mr. Graff moved approval of the August 8th minutes , seconded <br /> by Mr. McCoy , motion carried . <br /> Jeff Wehrman was present to talk to the Board in regards to <br /> the water problem on Acker Road . Jeff stated he would be <br /> putting in a swale in his lawn , a larger ditch and two <br /> culverts . There was some discussion of the problems on <br /> Acker Road that are contributing the water to his property. <br /> The North side of Acker road needs to be reditched and new <br /> culverts put in . Money in the amount of $6 , 200 . would need <br /> to be submitted to the Town from the property owners on the <br /> North side of Acker Road for the Town to proceed with the <br /> reditching and new culverts . Jeff indicated that he would <br /> like the work done this Fall . <br /> Preliminary Resolution declaring intent to exercise special <br /> assessment powers under section 66 . 60 , stats . for Utility <br /> district # 7 (Mayfield Lane) was reviewed , the engineer <br /> reviewed the plans for installing the sewer lines . There <br /> were questions regarding where the lines would be placed and <br /> where the laterials would hook up to the residences . <br /> Mr. Graff moved to adopt the preliminary resolution for <br /> special assessments for Utility District # 7 , seconded by <br /> Mr . McCoy , motion carried . <br /> Mr. McCoy moved to set. the Public Hearing on September 22 , <br /> 1987 at 7 : 00 P.M . at the Town Hall , seconded by Mr. Graff, <br /> motion carried. <br /> Notices are to be mailed to the property owners on Sept . <br /> • <br /> 8th , and the notice will appear in The Star on September <br /> 9th . <br /> Preliminary Resolution declaring intent to exercise special <br /> assessment powers under setion 66 . 60 stats . for Utility <br /> district # 8 (Lien Road) was reviewed . There was an <br /> amendment to the discription of the area . <br /> Mr . McCoy moved to approve the amendment creating the <br /> Utility District # 8 , seconded by Mr . Graff, motion carried. <br /> The Board signed the amendment documents . <br />
